I am sure the answer is buried here somewhere, but ... does anyone have a source for a rubber strap with a deployant clasp that will fit a 2008 Seamaster GMT (2535800) ?

Cheers!

There are thousands of places to get a strap, and hundreds more that offer deployant clasps. Do you want a real Omega set or something aftermarket? Just do a search.

Will do. Thought there may be a trusted source everyone uses for deployant on rubber ...

The trusted source is Omega. They will be able to supply; have your local jeweler call them.

The watch in question came on a bracelet, and that case was only ever used on the one watch reference. So there is no strap of any kind that Omega has specifically for this watch head or case. Note that although some AD's or OB's will sell parts that are not specifically for a given watch, many will not, so Omega may simply turn you away.

Often, unless the strap is made for the case, the holes in the ends will not line up with the lug holes, in particular straps with ends that are shaped more like bracelet end links...so this is something to be aware of.

You may end up having to find an aftermarket strap for this, unless someone is willing to let you try a bunch of Omega straps to see if any fit the watch correctly.

Cheers, Al
