Speedmaster Tension Ring Question

Hi all,

I recently had my 1861 hesalite Speedmaster serviced by Omega. Everything is running fine. I was a bit disappointed that they no longer give a 2-year warranty card, but they do tie it to the serial. I also didn't receive the card listing the test results. Just the watch and a receipt from the boutique. I called the service center and they said they will send me the test results card.

Anyway, a few days later I noticed an odd reflection at the edge of the crystal. It is the tension ring. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at here due to the distortion from the crystal. It looks like the ring is flush on one side, but that it tapers to a point where it connects. Does anyone know if this is normal/ok? I can live with the looks, but if there is an issue that could cause a loss of water protection or something then I may have to bring it back.

Thanks!

It should have been tested after service to 3 or 5 ATM so the fit of the crystal should be good.
