Hi All,

What do you think of this one ?

From my point of view, the bracelet is not original, there is no bevel under the bracelet.
The rest of the watch seems ok, even if I will need better pictures to assess the dial.

Thanks

Bracelet is fake.
Pictures are poor but case appears sharp and seems to have original crown.

Clear, in-focus pictures required for further assessment

It could be a very nice watch, do check the serial nr?
It has the old gasket, so maybe a service is needed?
But get really nice pictures, here is mine for some comparing!
I think that the one you are looking at is a bit older.

Good luck with your hunt, and please update this post?

Seems to be in nice shape. What are they asking for it? That would be a major factor in going any further.

I don’t know for sure this is the same reference as I haven’t looked at the case back myself but I am almost certain that it is the same. Mainly the multi-faceted lugs.

This was my grandfather’s watch which he bought new himself. It never would’ve been serviced as he didn’t even know that it was necessary but it was rarely worn.

One thing I’m not sure about is your bracelet. Mine can’t be wrong as it has never changed hands before it came to me.

I have a 7.25” wrist and without any extra links I decided to retire the bracelet. It’s a little tight so I just went to a strap instead yesterday.

End links are marked 511 and beads of rice pattern should be 3+2.

Thanks to both of you, you confirm my thought.

I’m trying to get the price reduce.
He is currently asking for 1300€, which is too much I think

There’s a large selection of 166.003 on Chrono24, if you haven’t already looked there

Oh yeah. 1300€ is waaaay to expensive. Does it have original box, papers, service history?

I’m looking on Chrono24 and they have them at $750-$850 USD with no box, no papers, no history. Mind you it’s a private seller with not much in terms of reassurances.

To be honest, I don’t even think provenance and papers matters much for watch like this. It is a nice watch. It’s simple, but by no means rare. It’s not COSC and I would rely more on my phone to make sure I don’t show up late to appointments. However, it is a nice, comfortable watch on the wrist and right now, is -10s per day approximately.

Get it cheaper elsewhere if the seller won’t budge as they will come up again.

Unless he comes down by more than half I think you should thank him for his time and walk away. You can get a .010 chronometer for that.

That’s a ridiculous price. Even with original Omega bracelet, box and papers it shouldn’t be much above €1000.
For head only, which is what this is (the bracelet adds no value), it should be around €500-600 if unserviced.

Hi all,
Following my research, I’ve found this one, seller is asking 750€.
It has to be serviced, but the case appear to be sharp, dial is clean.
What is your gut feeling about this one ?
Regarding the price, in Europe, I did not find cheaper…
