I just bought this and did some research but haven't been able to find another version that is polished like this one (maybe done by a previous owner) and with this style of bracelet ( the markings on the clasp read: Hecho en Mexico - 83 - Marcas Regs. - Omega (with logo) - Holzer y CIA SA - Acero Inoxidable).
Maybe someone with more knowledge than me could shed some light on what I have here:

Also thinking of changing to the Chatelain bracelet. Can these still be ordered from Omega?

Looks like a 166.0251 except someone polished the hell out of the case. The bracelet was made by Holzer, which says the watch was probably sold south of the US border. Every Holzer I own is incredibly comfortable, moreso than their N. American bracelet versions. What's the reference number on the inside of the caseback say?

;O)

Thank you for your insight. I haven't opened her up. I am traveling right now, but I am going on Monday to have her tested for water resistance and will have a look then. The bracelet is very comfortable but it also very stretched.

I don’t think so. The reference is actually a 166.0251, but bracelet is not an holzer and in this case seems not even original to the watch. Also, the dial looks very strange and it is not the usual dial associated with this ref. Finally the bezel is in very poor condition and the case has been poorly refinished.

I had a feeling this was maybe put together from different parts but I still like it except the bracelet which I can hopefully exchange

Hi flqt,

Well.........I was trying to be nice until he got a look at the caseback, as it sucks buying a watch you like and then get shot to pieces for making a mistake by your fellow watch friends. The bracelet is indeed a Holzer, as you can see from the two pics below. End links are different and it was branded for Tissot, but same bracelet made by Holzer. I have one on a Tissot PR516 I got from Mexico.........so it's legit. As for the dial.........does look a little hokey, but I'm not well versed enough to know for sure. It'll be interesting to see what the Ref # is and which movement is inside.

Had a water resistance test done today: Passed.
The insight of the caseback says: 166.0251 and 366.0858
Also managed to order the Chatelain bracelet from Omega 😀

Finally remembered to update this:
I sent the watch to Daniel from Vint Watches in Germany for full makeover and ordered a new bracelet from Omega (they are still available for around $500):

Here is a video of Daniel's work ( I can highly recommend him):
