Seamaster 120 535.007 purchase advice

So I have become a little enamored with this particular reference number (535.007) of the Seamaster as of late. However I am new to the world of vintages watches and realized jumping in feet first probably isn't the best idea. This watch is from a private seller they state it was fully serviced in 2020 and that everything apart from the band is original.

Is this one to avoid or an acceptable example?

Also, keep in mind this has a 31mm watch case.
...which can be an advantage because 18mm Tropic straps are a lot less expensive than 20mm!

This is the reason I am attracted to this reference I deliberately want the smaller case.

The watch itself looks in great condition with lively patina.

The 31mm versions are minuscule though. It’s really worth trying one on beforehand as they are tiny.

I have a quartz 33m Hamilton Khaki field that I feel works well on my small 6” wrist

Unfortunately it’s hard to find small contemporary watches to even try on let alone purchase

This will wear smaller than the Hamilton as the Hamilton is all dial whereas this has a bezel and thus a smaller dial relative to case size.

I’m not trying to turn you off it. Just make sure you understand how small it will wear.

You might like the 34mm DeVille Prestige of an earlier day?
