There doesn’t seem to be too many pictures out there of the non-tachy dial version of this Seamster model.

Was this dial just made in far fewer numbers, or was the non-tachy version perhaps a service dial?

Interestingly, there is a picture in AJTT of a double-branded Seamaster De Ville with the plain (i.e. tachy-less) dial.

Couple of pictures of those dials:

NON-TACHY

TACHY

Would love to see some more pictures of either from owners! Thanks!

It can’t be “double-branded” neither Seamaster or DeVille are brands. :whipped: Just saying. Sorry I just had to. ::stirthepot::

Non tachy is a genuine variant. Here’s one I owned a while ago.

Mmm…you might want to investigate the wider meaning/definition of the word “brand”…

That said, perhaps if I had used inverted commas, the thread would’ve remained on-topic.

Many thanks for the shot — looks great!

I think it’s pretty safe to assume that if there were SM/DV non-tachy models, then SM-only non-tachy were also produced at some point…

The reason I’m asking, incidentally, is that I quite lIke the idea of getting the non-tachy SM or SM/DV 105.005 as a companion piece to my 145.018 De Ville.

Nah. I know Omega is the brand. Seamaster and Seamaster DeVille are models of Omegas. Pedantic, sure, Correct, yes.
