This was the lady whose husband hoarded all the gaudy crap.
Added a descriptor for you
Hey if the price is right I can play Liberace for a day while I look for a buyer 😁
I would enjoy see you stroll through the NYC markets as Liberace
Seems a bit of a shame to be buying a heirloom off an old lady, to be just flipping it for profit...
you should be willing to do your own research if it’s purely for a personal profit benefit.
Old ladies mark their heirlooms with numbered hang-tags 😕 Interesting ...
I also got watches from the daughter of a collector with hangtags and numbers.
By now it’s clear you are THE #watchninja of OF 😀
Haha, I think I need an explanation what a Watchninja is 😁
It's a Mark 1 matte dial GMT with a service bezel and a polished but fairly nice case (might be Bexley bevel). The tell, from what can been seen on the dial, is the 'stringy' crown ( https://gmtmaster1675.com/mark-1/ ). The hard thing to see is if its been relumed or if the hands are replacements. The lume is pretty domed, which would be correct if it's and early Mark 1 with a serial <1.9m, but its a bit lumpy so I'm skeptical.
Well, here are some more photos I finally received right now. The bracelet seems like it could be aftermarket? I don’t see any numbered end links.
