Right, but when I wannted a new one, I didn‘t know that the new one are not the same as around 1961. That was why I had a look for them A 321 is too exoensive and a 69 pre moon is the real Moonwatch, in my opinion.
If you want to get technical about it, there were three references of the Speedmaster that were ON the moon: the 105.003, the 105.012 and the 145.012. The 145.022 ORBITED the moon if memory serves, but was not ON the moon. It is, however, correct to say that the 145.022 bears a much greater resemblance to the three moonwatch models than the 3861 and that its caliber 861 movement is a direct descendant of the caliber 321 movement.
I just saw some with hands with patina, which is good, but also some, where it looks that they have no material inside or it looks very dark. How is that? What's about the markers on the dial? I saw some, that look like painted later and not original. How can I find the difference between original and fake painted? The color looks like old, but that can be made later too.
What do you guys think of this 145.022-69 DNN?
Except of the pushers and the crown the watch looks good and original, in my opinion. I would say it‘s good to very good. The bracelet is a Frostner, ot very expensive (125 $ new). I‘m skeptical of the bezel. Is it original or replaced?
