Request for buying a Speedmaster 145.022 69 ST

Hi.

I've considered an Omega Speedmaster, but I don't know enough about it. I've dreamed of one for 30 years and now, on my 50th, I want it to be my own. New was an option, but now that I've looked into it a little, a 69-74 would suit me better. Before 69 is too expensive for me.

The one seen is a 145.022 69 ST with a rare 220 bezel. It doesn't have a step dial, but not all of them did, as far as I know.

The price with a Nato strap is €4,500 and with an additional steel strap it is €4,750.

Condition 3-5/10. I would have it processed.

It should run quite well, but not with period accuracy.

What are the pros saying?

Thank you much as in advance.

Can’t help you at all without photos. Closeup of dial straight on in natural light. Ditto the movement, outside of the case back, inside of the case back, all four sides, and a close up of the crown and pushers.

Sorry but, are you sure?

For me the one shown here has replaced hands and dial. -69 = step dial AFAIK

No, I‘m not. That‘s why I‘m asking. 😀
If the watch is original and worth the money, I would buy it and want to make a revision.

Yes, and it must have a stepped dial to be a -69. Don't buy this 😉

is it possible, that the clock face was changed. Is it possible to change it back and get the right one?

Yes but much more difficult and costly than to buy a right watch from the start...

The cost of bringing this watch back to original specs is astronomical.
Bezel,hands and dial.
Keep looking for a better example.

I'm not sure what you are getting at, that is @Spacefruit's website. You have been told by experts. The dial is wrong, the hands are wrong, the bezel may be wrong.

Ok, thanks. Do you think 1.5 k would bring them to the original? Whats about the 220 bezel? Is it rare?
How much would cost a 69 pre moon in acceptable conditions and where can I get one?
