·For sale or trade is a gold capped 1954 Omega Seamaster 2767 reference with a chronometre-rated 354 bumper movement. The original two-tone crosshair dial has developed a fairly heavy patina. The gold cap on the case is in nice condition with bevels on the lugs still present. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use.
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original two-tone crosshair dial has developed a fairly heavy patina, particularly on the outside edge from 3-8. Yellow gold markers and hands are in nice condition. Radium lume is fully intact on the hands and mostly intact on the markers. "Swiss Made" is present below the 6 marker as expected.
Case: Original 34.5mm 2767-1 reference case is in nice condition with no significant scratches/dings and appears to have been only lightly polished (if at all). Bevels on the lugs as well as "Seamaster" on the case back are still clearly visible.
Crown: Crown is signed with the Omega logo, however I do not believe it is original to the watch. The correct one should be the more common clover crown (not hard to find).
Crystal: Original signed crystal is clean.
Movement: Original chronometre-rated 354 bumper automatic movement runs, winds, and sets well. Service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use. Serial number dates the watch to 1954.
Strap: Comes on a generic brown leather strap and a gold plated buckle (not the strap pictured).
Price is $750 (reduced from $1,150). Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here).
I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but to be discussed with buyer. PayPal preferred for payment. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.
