·Up for sale or trade is a very uncommon jumbo 36mm 2765/2764/2771 reference Omega Seamaster bumper with a two-tone waffle dial and rose gold dial furniture. The original dial is in nice condition but does have a some marks (most notably near 5 o'clock). The case is a NOS one I recently had installed so it is in very nice condition (original case was missing the bezel - will be included in the sale). The 344 bumper movement was recently serviced by CL Timeworks and is running very well.
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original, non-refinished, waffle dial is in nice condition with a few marks/areas of discoloration (near 5 o'clock most noteworthy). The waffle pattern is two tone - matte finish in center and more glossy finish around the edge. Rose gold markers and hands are in nice condition, except the hands are missing lume and the have developed some patina. "Swiss Made" text is present below the 6 marker as expected. Between the two-tone waffle dial and rose gold furniture, I find it to be a very attractive dial variant.
Case: Jumbo 36mm triple marked 2765/2764/2771-1 reference case is NOS (recently installed). The original case, which will be included in the sale, was missing the bezel, and I managed to source the NOS one here on the forum (see last photo). The case is in very nice condition with sharp edges and only light scratches.
Crown: Original clover crown is in nice condition.
Crystal: Generic crystal was installed during service. Crystal is free of scratches.
Movement: Original 344 caliber bumper automatic movement was serviced in December 2019 and is running very well. Service was performed by Chandler at CL Timeworks and comes with a 1yr warranty. Serial number dates the watch to 1954.
Strap: Comes on an 18mm generic brown leather strap with steel buckle (not the strap pictured).
Price is $1,100 (reduced from $1,400). Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, and Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here). I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but to be discussed with buyer. PayPal preferred for payment. OF seller reviews are here.
