I mean you where asking for it with that screen name.

I was going to say I guess that settles if you smell more like a Prince or a Skunk.

😉 all love.
It is related to how I separated as a stupid kid from the first woman I ever loved, who was also a kid at the time. I wrote her a small story about how the skunk didnt do well with the kitten.

I really loved her....

Only a Prince could write that.

Simce Seiko has been mentioned already i can advice JLC. While not cheap, i doubt anyone knows what they are.
I wore my Polaris for almost the whole year and even watch enthusiasts dont know what it is. Even when i stick it into their face, they cant read the name on the dial 😁 👍
On a NATO everything looks a bit less flashy.

There are a few watches posted here that look to much like a sports Rolex, the ultimate “not under the radar” watch. Those will definitely attract the attention of thieves who might think they’re Rolex. If you insist on wearing such a watch, and even the 5 digit Rolex, wear them on a NATO strap. The bling of an oyster or jubilee draws attention on its own.

I just wear an early 60s Seamaster on a strap. Frankly, I think that carrying and using a new iPhone in public makes you a more appealing target for thieves.

Do watch-robbing thugs really take the time and effort to choose and correctly identify watches before robbing? Any nicely styled watch would seem to make the wearer a potential target.

"Oh bummer! It's only Seiko junk. I don't want this," the crook mutters after he's just clobbered you up 'side the head!
You’d be surprised how savvy watch thieves have become. Many of my European friends have told me that those thieves are pretty well versed in what is and what isn’t. The most liquid watches are anything Rolex. Discrétion is advised!

Of course you must understand that I'm not good at identifying watches unless they're stuck in my face in a good light and I have on my reading glasses Faz.

If I was a watch robbing crook I'd simply take them first then sort them out later.

Perhaps a MoonSwatch (with the Velcro strap exchanged), now that they are much easier to buy…

I actually think both the FOIS and NTTD are great travel watches. Go with anything. Never really attracted any attention.

Ikepod Seaslug. Nobody who steals watches knows what a Seaslug is. Only connoisseurs know and appreciate the slug.

I recently purchased a Seiko SNE589 (Solar quartz) for just this purpose. I wear considering taking my NTTD on strap, but for less than $400, this achieves my goal of a good looking watch with good water resistance; one that I wouldn’t be heartbroken that I didn’t come home with (theft/loss/damage).

the bracelet is underwhelming, but I was going to put it on a strap regardless.

I keep looking for the right one, I like the silver dial more than the black and the bracelet that looks like a bicycle chain is just so cool and unique that I’d really like to get one with it rather than rubber strap. In an industry where everyone blatantly copies each-other its just such a breath of fresh air.

Looking for something low key and not attention grabbing. I like something with good water resistance and around 40mm. Any feedback appreciated!
You're just re-defining with your own words what is a G-Shock...
