How about me? Can I buy it ?

Anybody can buy it - it is, after all, an open auction. We were hoping it didn't get public because now all sorts of lurkers will be tipped off to the listing.

Hoi, don't you already own a Centenary or two? Steve doesn't have one yet.

I think Steve is waiting for a pink gold one and he hates Guatemala 😉

But the lurkers probably don't realize we are sending them on a wild goose chase straight into the hands of the Guatemalan drug cartel !

My Flagship came from Lima, Peru. The point is we never said South America was a 'no fly' zone, just to proceed with extreme caution. We're taking some of the element of risk out of it for the lurkers.

Guatemala is in Central America, not South America. And it is not spelled "Argentina". But caution is still advised.

That being said, I'll be watching this one with interest, although it is unlikely I will bid...this time.

Thanks,

A premium? I don't get why. It's just another late 80's / early 90's SMP. If you mean it will be more expensive than a battery powered version you would be correct, but this isn't exactly a rare or highly sought after watch. The 80's into the 90's was the low point of Omega's history.
