Nice 18k YG seamaster cal. 352 chronometre - dial is original and not a repaint (and pretty nice too) and case has some polish. And it has the coveted cal. 352 movement. If a steel one went for $1500 how much is this 18k example worth?

Maybe...I like the dial, but how's the condition of the case?

Case has quite a bit of polish - depending on the price may still be worth considering since the dial is unique not just because of the patina but because of the style.

Not if enough buyers have concerns. For example, here is another fine looking watch, even looks a little aged, only in this case the seller states it is refinished,(BTW Swiss Made should not be there)

here is the same reference 2383 from a Swedish auction next week. Interestingly it repeats the flaws mentioned int this thread - the lume overlap over into the subdial and the chapter ring misalignment (between 3 and 7). The lume is not as heavy, but evenly deteriorated.

You have to wait for them to load. Also, they use Silverlight for their images - perhaps their is a browser incompatibility? I'm using Chrome.

Unfortunately it is often not a simple innocent or guilty. You pays u money and u takes u chances. If I have concerns I chose not to pay. I would love to have either of those two watches, just not enough to take a chance. Does it sway me? Some, just not enough yet
