$2495 😁 what they are asking

Offers being taken which means they would settle for less - how much less we don't know but the top asking price is already reasonable.

Nice 18k YG seamaster cal. 352 chronometre - dial is original and not a repaint (and pretty nice too) and case has some polish. And it has the coveted cal. 352 movement. If a steel one went for $1500 how much is this 18k example worth?

Son of a 🤬! I gotta see what's available. Almost wish I didn't buy the Chronoswiss. Almost.

Case has quite a bit of polish - depending on the price may still be worth considering since the dial is unique not just because of the patina but because of the style.

Interesting...I thought this one would have sold for much more -- final price was $411.

Not if enough buyers have concerns.

here is the same reference 2383 from a Swedish auction next week. Interestingly it repeats the flaws mentioned int this thread - the lume overlap over into the subdial and the chapter ring misalignment (between 3 and 7). The lume is not as heavy, but evenly deteriorated.

Changes anyone's mind about originality?

Nice find, I don't know too much about these so I'm interested in hearing opinions.

Unfortunately it is often not a simple innocent or guilty. You pays u money and u takes u chances. If I have concerns I chose not to pay. I would love to have either of those two watches, just not enough to take a chance. Does it sway me? Some, just not enough yet
