🇺🇸 Vintage Omega Seamaster Cal 750/752 Day-Date going no reserve in the US

Nice one, do note though it has one incorrect aftermarket endlink. Not the end of the world but it should be factored in.

🇺🇸 Seamaster Cal 564 Jumbo Concentric Dial with razor sharp case going no reserve in the US

This case is insane. With the watch looking this fresh one wonders how it got separated from its braclet.

What do you all think of the condition of this one?
Case finish looks nice on this example. A few small blemishes but the case lines are still super strong. Tritium has baked some the dial finish off the dial though I don't know how much you would notice during daily wear. The lume has aged unevenly and has gone grey overall as opposed to a more attractive cream. I'd call the case Very Good the hands and dial seem Good. Overall a strong example though not perfect.

As with all things aesthetic final decisions are with the collector. To me this is an example that you could own and be proud of but its not a museum piece.

@RDSChicago The watch you linked to isn’t the yellow handed one in the thumbnail, your link leads to a red handed 145.036 is that the one you want opinions on?

If so, I would say it’s a good example of a late 70’s 145.036 (its ‘lateness’ being most evident in its circular brushing as opposed to a sunburst finish, the listing says it’s early but the change to circular brushing happened later in the production of the .036). It has what seems to be an unblemished B2 dial “with dots” and an original subdial.

The only thing that’s off about the watch are the hands which although original (less pointy than service hands) seem to have been relumed poorly at some point. Particularly evident in the lume on the GMT hand.

Other than that, a good example. I guess if you’re interested in buying it the only question would be whether it’s functioning well, as these aren’t cheap to service.

Thank you for your opinions. I must have posted the wrong photo. So it’s clear, here is a link to the auction I won.

It seems based on market, I did okay on price. I’d love your opinions as to what if anything I could do to improve the watch cosmetically, or assuming it doesn’t immediately need a service, is it best to leave it alone? If it does need a service, who would you recommend? I am near Denver, Colorado. Thanks so much!

Yes, that’s the one I was looking at, congratulations on your purchase! Do you already have the watch in your possession? The reason I ask is that in the photos the main chronograph hand isn’t sitting perfectly at zero, which could be an issue, but the minute tracking chronograph is sitting on 1minute, so the watch may have just been stopped at 1 minute and not reset properly. I would be interested to know if it’s resetting properly. I wouldn’t touch the watch other than getting it serviced and when it comes to servicing I’d potentially start a new thread instead of hijacking this one, and ask some Americans for servicing advice, I’m just a lowly kiwi.

Thanks! The watch isn’t yet in my possession. The seller, who happens to reside near me, set up the auction so the watch would go to an “Authenticator,” who happens to be across the country in New Jersey. I suspect I’ll have the watch in hand in a week or so. As to the resetting, take a look at the video included in the listing. The chronograph hand and 30 minute counter hand do reset to 0, or so it appears.
