This one went for 766 quid not bad for UK prices

I was a bit surprised to see that... do the hidden crown ones stay that much lower value? The dial and hands look solid. I admit that the case is much less attractive, but I still would expect them to go for more than that!

I was in on that one for a while (actually, I think I was the 3rd highest bidder), but I was only looking for a project, so only if I could get it as a deal. Those photos are AWFUL, and that dial could be anything from perfect, to completely destroyed, and there is no way to tell from the photos. I suspect many were frightened away by that.

I think it is about $100-$150 below market if it is lovely, and about $300 OVER market if it is significantly damaged. So, coin flip as to whether it is a good deal 😀

TBH, I suspect it is worth it, particularly if you're doing the cleanup work yourself. It absolutely needs a ~$400 service of course before I'd risk wearing it, but my suspicion is that you ended up on the 'good' side of that.

We initially posted then pulled that one after a member noticed the missing 10 o’clock marker, I’d looked at it many times and didn’t see it as it never really happens on there so the eye just doesn’t get drawn there

🇺🇸 US Steel 40th Anniversary Seamaster De Ville Automatic going no reserve in 13 hours

I do really like these as US Steel was a company that really mattered in the US, especially in PA

I was able to grab it for $1425. Big gamble but with Ebay, Paypal, and Amex I feel pretty confident I can get my money back worst comes to worst... wish me luck

I'd be curious to hear what you end up paying on US import duties. Are you expecting 15%?
