馃嚭馃嚫 Vintage Omega Constellation Piepan Grand Luxe in 18K Gold going no reserve, interesting finishing on the lugs that I haven't seen before, I've seen cross hash / waffle pattern finish but the bark look is one I hadn't seen

I bet, makes sense to me.
Quite a bit cheaper this time! I held off bidding a little, so I hope you ended up with it!

I didn't bid on it because of the possible shill bidding, I was suspicious of the watch after that.

Sorry to see you didn't get it Erich.

Yeah, seems fair! I was suspicious, but put a little bit of a bid on it. Got a feeling we'll see it again 馃榿

Would you guess a $1000+ service is needed for thid watch given the crown stem isnt engaged? Just trying to figure in my head how much it would be to get it and run.

Getting a stem in should be trivial, but the real question is WHY it is out, which could be "it has broken parts". That said, a service for something like this is $400-$500, not $1000.

That's a good point... its a beautiful watch and have been hoping for an 18k, but if its a complete overhaul it will probably go too high. Its already at $2750 and we are 8 days out

Yea my local guy is a lot less than that too, it should be assumed that any piece pulled from eBay needs service though
