I didn’t get it but it’s the nicest example of that model I’ve seen for sale. I’ve always thought the very nicest examples of the desirable models should fetch a multiple of the average examples.

Going by the comic book market closer to 3-5x. I think the multiple here is appropriate. For this model one may have to wait several years if not a decade to see another one go for sale.

Omega Geneve 137.001 Cal 602 Chronometer in 18K gold, there are two marks on the dial but it’s still a quite uncommon bordering on rare watch with a unique movement to the reference and a gold case, quite cool indeed
