That's the seller that's been questioned in the thread about shill bidding, although nothing conclusive was said about him.

It is a nice dial, but somebody did a number on those lugs.

Really nice, eminently collectible. With the box and papers too. Pity it's in the USA. The strap is really interesting - just like the ones in the old Omega adverts. Where can I get a light coloured strap just like that?

That strap with the original buckle is hard to find and pricey by itself.

Does it protect the original finish or something?

It shows it hasn't been messed with.

Agreed, but why is the balance a lighter color? Do you think it was replaced?

Also, there is a rather large time gap between the movement production date of about 1957 and the final sale date in 1962 (per the papers). Might mean something, might not.

Just not very familiar with this particular caliber,

I think that's because the caseback has a notch to accommodate the crown - hence more air and more tarnish in the movement area close to that side. And the papers reference the correct movement number in the watch so no problems there. I think this watch is quite well preserved.

If this watch were a little larger it would be on its way to me now.;)

This is one of those watches -- and as of yet I don't have one in my collection -- that I suppose one would never service, nor wear! Just take out occasionally and look at...

Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but this one looks kosher to me - absolutely stunning:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-O...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item4d0d9a1ed1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I have bought from this seller before and he seemed to be on the level - except for the fact that he didn't leave me feedback even when I helped him out when he sent somebody else's item to me (as well as my own)

It's been awhile since I made a purchase, so I may give this one serious consideration...unless others may have interest. I realize it's small, but so are my wrists:)

Brother, how did you determine the offer price? I've never sold on ebay and only bought a couple dozen items, I need to learn the nuances.
    Thanks

    Or were you the buyer?
