Bracelet doesn't look original & I have doubts about the hour and minute hands too. Judging by the logo, I'd guess this is a mid-50's iteration.

The serial no isn't easy to make out but it looks like an early 13M no, which would also date it to 1953-4. The pushers and crown look alright, but I can't find a picture of that dial layout...yet.

I think the dial is fine, there are a lot of iterations on this particular reference. The hands could be replacements, not sure. If they are, it shouldn't be too hard to find correct ones. The crystal shouldn't be too much of a problem either.

My guess is that this is a $2,000 to $2,500 watch in that condition.

I think the condition is too bad for this price!
Case well worn/polished, wrong crown, damaged dial... there are far better examples...

Yes there are. Probably this one is 1000 -1500 too expensive. However I am always surprised with the ending price of these Melbourne (with merit in dial).

This watch has some attributes, such as the 505, but in my view is too polished for the price.

That's a very fine watch. Will end up pricey...too.

That's the seller that's been questioned in the thread about shill bidding, although nothing conclusive was said about him.

It is a nice dial, but somebody did a number on those lugs.
