The rust on the dial around the 4 o'clock position worries me. Also, the lack of movement pictures has me wondering what the inside looks like.
Ive removed that one, it’s subtle but it’s there and you’re right about the risk given no movement shots, plenty more of those around

This gold-capped 168.016 Constellation Day Date Cal 751 has been polished but it’s still not bad, clean dial and hands and a decent case-back medallion, price is currently $570 with 1 hour to go which is very cheap for a nice daily wear Constellation, I’d try to get it under a grand, ideally 850 or less

This gold-capped 168.016 Constellation Day Date Cal 751 has been polished but it’s still not bad, clean dial and hands and a decent case-back medallion, price is currently $570 with 1 hour to go which is very cheap for a nice daily wear Constellation, I’d try to get it under a grand, ideally 850 or less

Do you mean because you can see the sort of ring around the edge on the right but not on the left? That’s just perspective of the photo imo

That's what I was talking about. I couldn't decide because the photo looked pretty square to the watch. Oh well

18K solid gold Constellation pie-pan deluxe 168.005/6 dogleg, has has had some polishing but not too bad, dial is very nice

Think it looks all original?
Its original but it is polished, you can tell that by the softness on some facets and edges of the dogleg lugs, some previous examples were better in that respect but it isn’t uncommon for an 18k gold watch like this to have been polished at some point and it still is a very nice watch, just not perfect which should bring the price down a bit

Nice entry level steel Geneve Cal 613, quite shark and nice dial and hands, don’t overpay for these but they’re great first mechanical watches, ideally under $300

This 18K solid gold Geneve Cal 565 goes off in 8 hours, I wouldn’t go above a grand given the Geneve is a simple watch but these are uncommon and interesting in 18K and will look good on a strap, crown is a replacement but easy to source a correct one for these
