Decent condition entry level Cal 601 Geneve in gold-plate, don’t overpay but these are a nice starter watch for a modest price around 200-350

https://www.ebay.com/itm/276191746987

This nice gold-plated Geneve goes off in a few hours, still only $300

Brosnan Seamaster (Quartz) listed for no reserve (currently at $100). Might be worth keeping an eye on if you're in the market and don't want to spend a lot.

I think you meant to post this in the Modern Omega recommendations thread, or are you trying to make us feel old?

To be honest, I debated back and forth. But the serial number visible on the lugs dates it to ~ 1999. So I'm kind a thinking anything last century is close enough to vintage. I'm very much last century myself, and I do feel pretty vintage some mornings.

Someone got it at $316. I had a bid up to $301. The winner has zero history so I'm suspicious of shill bidding. I guess if it's relisted that would be extra suspect.

I spoke too soon. The auction is not over yet. 43 mins to go. Not sure if I want to bid higher or not, even though the watch is worth it.

First rule of buying Geneves is there will always be another Geneve. These watches have great water resistance, Omega made a huge number of them and the survival rate is extremely high (except for gold plated models suffering wear-through).

Bad photos but decent looking Constellation C-Case in steel on bracelet from what can be seen, seller mentions a decent scratch on the back but overall case condition and dial looks nice

True. I have two of them and I love them very much!

Quite a cool and nice Seamaster De Ville in 14K Solid Gold with a logo dial and case-back engraving

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166478979417

Engraving is from an infamous NY distiller but strangely the dial logo is from the NY Daily News

Quite as cool 165.003 Cal 552 in steel with full arabic indices, not sure if the hands are correct, there are some odd edge cases with the more unusual dials but they look cool enough with it that I wouldn’t be bothered given the dial and case condition.

This quite nice 165.003 goes off later today, still fairly cheap so far

So

Sold for $710 + $45 to ship. Nice watch!
Yea I really hope to see that one again, I love 166.003s, 165.002s are significantly less common with the same case and that dial is very cool
