Yes, we are looking forward to the second victim's post. Better to be victims of this thread than victims of the many unscrupulous ebay sellers.

Can I get an AMEN on that?

This thread is making me very happy that I've got my perfect Constellation already. Man, these things are getting expensive! Twice this year I've personally seen stainless steel 16x.005 dog leg lug Constellation pie pans go for $1500. STAINLESS!

Looks like the one I was able to pick up from the same seller, except the one I got has a gold medallion. This one looks in good condition too. Price sure has gone up since I snagged mine.
Except this one, the whole watch is gold,

This one is 14k gold with a screwback case rather than a snapback case - it is worth more than the stainless steel version with a snapback case you purchased from the same seller.

Nice subseconds bumper in a screwback case:

And a seamaster calendar date at 6 with an evenly patinated dial - overall a clean watch (from the same seller):

I agree of course it would have more value. Should this listing go double the price?

It's a watch/jewelery shop in Switzerland, they had their name put on the dial.

A bunch of other companies also did this, like Asprey, Cartier, Meister, etc... Here's one of mine that has Wright Kay&Co on it, which I think was based in Detroit.

If I weren't on a self imposed buying hiatus, it would be on my list too. Good luck!

    • To clarify, It would be on my bid list, only if no one from here had expressed interest. ;)
