Hi everyone, What does this movement look like? Would you buy the watch? It seems to me that it was ‘manised’. And I have serious doubts about the originality of the hands. They offered it to me at €350.
Geneve Calibre 613, reference 136.0049 which I wrote about here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-stories-omegas-under-300-the-geneve-136-0049.150673/
I love the fact that I can link articles about specific references like this now 😀
Good watch, going off in 10 hours, $200 at the moment.

Thanks for sharing. Noob question: is it common to see that DeVille is not printed on the dial?
For the early 5 digit references with coat hanger S it wasn’t unusual, it was a phase where they were still experimenting with what the DeVille was going to be so there are both Seamaster DeVille signed and Seamaster signed 14770’s but I would still consider them all to be DeVilles as its the characteristic front-loader case they became well known for.

UK Watch, nice Seamaster 166.003 with sharp facets to the lugs on beads of rice with a clean dial. Still has the original yellow gasket and hasn’t been polished at all, should clean up very nicely indeed.
