This 14K Cal 550 US cased DeVille won’t be likely to go cheap, but its a nice one. Patchwork quilt pattern dial, nice condition, cool piece.

Went for $1084, not really a bad deal for 14K solid gold with a cool dial

I would have expected a higher winning bid given the uncommon dial and hippocampus back. The standard SMDs with inscription backs tend to sell for close to $1000.

Puppies, kittens, watches ... I'd give them all a home given enough disposable income! 😎

I just received an offer to buy this for £700 so assume the seller will accept that from someone else.

It does look nice and, with a bracelet and BIN, is not badly priced particularly since I wouldn’t have to pay import duty.

As a consequence, despite already having two 168.017s, I’ve been 'watching' it on eBay.

Today the seller, clearly a dealer, offered it at a discount for £700. I don’t intend buying it - one on and a spare are enough for me - but if anyone else is looking, particularly if they’re in the UK, I thought I’d pass it on.

Cal 613 Omega Geneve manual wind tonneau case in steel, these tend to go cheap so don’t overpay but quite a decent entry point watch or gift for a family member.

This one’s far from cheap but interesting to watch, limited edition of 500 for the Italian market, DA145.0022 in gold and steel. The starting bid is below what a few of them have sold for recently so I expect there to be a buyer and some bidding action on it.

UK Watch, nice Seamaster 166.003 with sharp facets to the lugs on beads of rice with a clean dial. Still has the original yellow gasket and hasn’t been polished at all, should clean up very nicely indeed.

These are lovely watches, particularly if you like dauphine hands and sunburst dials (like I do) and the profile is pretty unique (and lovely too).

Here’s a photo of the profile of the watch in question to whet your appetite.

The bracelet is worth about £200 alone and the movement is one Omega's ultra reliable 5** series.

If I didn’t already have two of these I’d be sorely tempted (and to be honest, I still am)

Yes this listing is overpriced. I just bought some items from this seller for my own ladies dynamic. The seller asked in a PM if I was interested in this. I refereed the seller to the forums and recommended the seller check the sold listings to see what these sell for. The seller may be open to a reasonable offer as this seems to be an estate sale and the 'wife and daughter are not interested.' (yeah right.)
I did notice 5 or so of this model has sold in the last month for the $250 range, so this seems to be a popular trending model, and one of the nicer ladies retro watches.
There are some other spare parts/tools from this seller which are reasonably priced, and recommended. I have no affiliation. for some reason this model simply makes me feel good.

IMO 166.003 is a superb entry level ref for newcomers. the beauty is not just in the dial but also the case.
the lugs and bezel on this one are just too banged up thou. brushing effect is gone. should be priced accordingly.

Where is it “banged up”? Its just an unpolished and dirty used watch imo
