eBay has no visibility these days, prices are low because people are not looking, or can't see - and the true price is only revealed last second with the sniper bids
When you say no visibility, do you mean that people aren’t aware of how to look, or eBay literally isn’t showing everything?

Both, in the case of not showing everything, for example this watch has international shipping, yet outside UK, visibility is a hit or miss, usually a miss

How can one view these watches? Are there other sites you can recommend that show international listings?

Nice looking 18k pie pan full set out of Spain. 4 days to go and currently just under €2k. It’s also listed on Chrono24 for around €/$4k. Be interesting to see what happens if the eBay price is significantly less than the Chrono asking price.

I always find it a bit of a red flag when sellers do that. Still though, it looks like a pretty good watch…

For myself, im in Canada, so many listings from the US wont show up on ebay.ca since the seller hasnt posted shipping to Canada. I've personally messaged many of them and they are willing to ship to Canada at an additional cost, but i've missed many decent sales because of this. I'm sure this is similar for many other countries like EU shipping only within the EU, etc.

Also, it is a bit tough to find good deals with many sellers switching to the Global Shipping Program now. Automatically tacks on an extra 15-25% plus shipping and they tend to be adamant about using the ebay service. I remember recently seeing an auction for a "well worn" generic steel Omega Geneve cal.601 in the UK sitting at £150. The additional fees were estimated at £35 plus £15 for shipping. Realistically, no one outside the UK would be able to justify that kind of purchase.

Here’s a nice Date at 6 Seamaster in 18K.

Interesting patina. Case has been polished a bit and a proper signed crown should not be too tough to find. But the bones are there.

Anyone get this one? 1666 quid was a great buy
Not me. Was looking and had my finger hovering to the end but in the end decided it’s not the model I really want and I want to try to stop buying things I don’t want even if they seem like a good price.

Interesting, I'm pretty sure the T&C's for selling on Chrono24 stipulate the item cannot be listed on any other platform for the 3 month duration of the listing?? 😕

That’s a crazy deal. The gold is probably worth more than the watch…
But the conditions?!

The Patina and looks a bit polished
Oh yeah, but my point is that if it’s 18k then does that matter? Someone might just buy to melt it down! Not that I approve of that…
