I’m not really sure how its a lemon at $610 usd for a 712 ultra thin chronometer in steel with a nice case and dial
If you know what you’re doing on eBay, the seller feedback isn’t an issue and I agree that most/all of the marks seem to be on the dial. With a crystal polish/replacement I’ll bet the dial is pretty good. This isn’t a stellar example but at £460 its no where near a lemon.
Hmm nice one, unfortunately us shipping only Ebay says "ask seller about shipping to **** Contract seller then.. "Unfortunately this seller is not able to respond to your question" Classic ebay
Yea it wasn’t that long ago that a vast majority of watch listings were CONUS only, I used to have to finesse sellers into adding Australia as an option to even have a chance at the cool watches I wanted that we never saw listed down under
Maybe they object to listing delivery to AnUS (Australia, not United States).. FWIW it frustrates me too seeing more listed on ebay.com vs ebay.com.au
Can I say a really big thankyou to @dsio for sharing your ongoing discoveries with us? I just bought this for a smidge over $1k once taxes and shipping were added -- perhaps not a super bargain, but I'm happy as it "completes the set" of c-case dial variants for me. They are harder to come by here in New Zealand anyway, but thankfully I have parents-in-law in the US.
This is a strikingly nice example of its reference, check out the sharp edges on the case https://www.ebay.com/itm/284573122908?hash=item4241e1415c:g:ypcAAOSwzilhtFPA&LH_Auction=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Sharp indeed, and if every eBay seller adopted this guy's return policy, the world would be a better place. We offer 30 days free return ! If you decide to return the watch please make sure to choose the return reason "CHANGED MIND" (No restocking fee) You will be automatically approved and free domestic label will be instantly provided.
Does anyone know what reference this is?? I have spent a bit of time now and can't quite figure it out.
It looks very much like it. The indices at 3,6,and 9 look a little different than the examples I saw. I'm pretty new to this, are there variations within the same reference numbers?
There’s often a sea of different dial variations for each reference. To put it another way, there’s isn’t a different reference for each different dial type.
