Agree... but all of these can be corrected , repaired , parts repalced.. rest of the package is really nice... just a thought.

This is one of my favorite model Seamaster chronometers. The case has been polished but still has some of its edging.. nice example from Japan ... it not perfect but its a great watch and I would not be scared to wear it in public ! As usual just to be clear have no relationship with the seller. Here is an affiliate link:

Its a hard call , Chronometer spelled US way , a strike against. But it looks right to my eyes... If it was a buy it now I would have bought it, no matter what I promised no purchases... rest of watch looks age correct .

Thanks for the response. I am no expert on Omegas but the printing on this dial looks a bit crude, to my eyes.

Understood ...I am looking at the compete package, case nice condition plus all the paperwork .... in any case if the dial was redone or not , this lot deserves consideration in my opinion .

It has an interesting regulator. Also I find it interesting there is no "Adjusted, etc." on the hammer.

It a correct hammer weight for a early chronometre . It would be in an issue if the hammer was marked “UNADJUSTED”.

The regulator assembly was know as the “Omega System “ in some Omega literature . Same as in the 30T2Rg and 30T2SCRg.

So does the little Omega Chronometer booklet . But need to assume it’s a redial for bidding ... it’s fine as is for myself and in maybe time you might come across a scraped case dial and movement survivor ...

Yes, I share the concern about the lettering and on further study the seconds track has some funky 1/5 second marks...

In any case it is a striking looking watch.
