Really? F@ck! I'll post pics of the black one I got to the vintage thread to get more feedback. (Listing pics; it still hasn't arrived.) I'm pissed about this, as I took my time trying to find one that I was sure looked right...

Note that if you can find an original crown for Ref. 2517, you have a very scarce original thin pie-pan Constellation crown to use or sell.

I hate to say it, but there is no way that watch was going to sell for $1500. That was a great example—and great examples go for good prices.

Agreed - the price it went for I think was fair considering the condition of the watch.

I was following it before it came here. It did not help it was posted here. 😁 Anyway, I was thinking of putting a max bid of EUR 2502. But eventually I did not want the watch bad enough. I have too many dress watches. But it's a beauty.
