What do you mean?

I didn’t participate in that auction because I indeed don’t know!
But it seemed very nice and original to me so I’m asking to know if I should have trusted my « guts » or if I was right not to
"NOT for Inquiries"
(It's another word for 'questions'.)

Start a separate thread in the vintage sub-forum if you want to discuss that watch. As @larryganz suggested, this thread is not for that purpose.

This thread is for people who find a good vintage Omega watch to post what they found, so that others can go check out, i.e. "recommended" vintage Omega watches on eBay.

They constantly have to remind people here that it's not a thread to ask "is this a good watch?" Rather, it's a pro-active thread that should only have posts with good Omega watches linked, that they think are worth considering buying on eBay.

ok, I understand
My bad, it was a misinterpretation on my part (English is not my first language^^)
Thought « inquiries » referred to people trying to sell their watches
Will remember that in the future!

Happens all the time.
You should definitely pose your question in its own thread. You can learn a lot. It's amazing how many extremely knowledgeable people take time to explain things around here.

Omega Chronometre with a plank dial, cal. 352.

Dead Link/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/283717658510

Has original buckle too:

Note that if you can find an original crown for Ref. 2517, you have a very scarce original thin pie-pan Constellation crown to use or sell.

Not something you see every day.

I know a guy who has a little box with about thirty of those. When told about the value, he replied "But then I wouldn't have them any more!". True dat. One year later, one of them was placed on a Connie sold to me with a clover crown.
