I'm gonna go on a limb and say that this is not in tip-top shape (though I think a crystal polish will go a long way), but this could be a really good first watch for someone entering the vintage game. And at $420 and from a highly recommended eBay seller (closer0924) I think it is a great watch with real character.

I think that the Tuxedo faced Cosmic watches of the late 1960's are amongst the most stylish watches that Omega has ever made, with 565 cal movements or 752 as day date they offer an unbeatable combination of quality too

went for 2550 USD! Whoa!
@BenBagbag, are you the seller? If so that was quite a sale!
Nope. No affiliation whatsoever. I'd disclose if I was the seller. I figured I've recommended enough watches in this thread that folks would see I'm not hawking my wares. 😀

Lovely watch either way. The second hand seems long for a pie-pan though.

Another barn find:

I know the company selling the watch. They are one of these outfits that holds "jewelry fairs" in hotel ballrooms, etc. They buy watches based on the name on the dial for pennies on the dial and sell them as-is.

If you can get this one cheap, it doesn't look to need too much to be rehabilitated.

Good luck,

Bloody hell that was cheap.
Only if it is a transitional cal. 564. If it is the cal. 1011, it is market correct.

Should I message the seller..?
[sarcasm]Why not? Worst they can do is say "no".[/sarcasm].

Still think its very nicely priced given the superb condition it appears to be in.

I'll take all your Constellations with bracelets in that condition, even if it's a C-cased 1011.

Clean dial, all lume intact (the exception rather than the rule on these, IMO), perfect case with a stellar bezel and a correct bracelet. I'll take that any day at that price. Have a look at that bracelet - it looks better than the one on the one year old Oris I'm trying to flog on here at the moment.

A buddy of mine got this, so please don’t ^^
Will report here if everything concludes well, but given the amount of honesty in ebay sellers and buyers these days...

Great buy, IMO. Your buddy can be happy, but make sure to have it looked over. The movements in these are not as robust as the earlier ones.

Agreed 100%, would value this watch 250-350£ higher every day of the week.
