·Guys like this are parsing words with a razor blade. Original dial in their parlance means just the dial, not the paint that goes on the dial!

·Is there a ding at 2 o'clock on the inside of the bezel? Seems to be copper peeking out there. Can't see it in the straight on photo.

·Yeah, that light will refract so bad you'll go blind. It'll refract dings all over the place. It'll ding your other watches. Best to stay away.

·Someone will pay the price, which does seem inline with recent trends, but this one has major rotor wear and will need a service. Considering how often connies show up in the worst redials thread, it's probably still ok with the redial cost added in.
I don't understand what you mean about the "redial cost". This dial looks good to me. The hands are a bit short so they might be replacements, however an image search for this reference shows several other pie pans with slightly short hands so it's difficult to be sure.
