Sorry for being cryptic. I can't be too sure that what they are selling is original. They (edit to add: socalwestside7777) redial watches without disclosing and who knows what else they do to prepare watches...

Guys like this are parsing words with a razor blade. Original dial in their parlance means just the dial, not the paint that goes on the dial!

An eBay seller offered a vintage Rolex GMT where dial and hands had been replaced. The title said "All Original." I asked him about this. He said "It's ALL ORIGINAL Rolex parts!!!" So in this case "original" = "made by Rolex."

Condition, condition. This Seamaster looks to be in fantastic shape. Price is getting steep ($700 at time of post) with only 2 hours left but boy is this one nice...

Is there a ding at 2 o'clock on the inside of the bezel? Seems to be copper peeking out there. Can't see it in the straight on photo. seamaster ding at 2 oclock.PNG

What is it? A refraction of light?

Yeah, that light will refract so bad you'll go blind. It'll refract dings all over the place. It'll ding your other watches. Best to stay away.

My snipe attempt fell just short, I was the high bidder for exactly 1 second.

Someone will pay the price, which does seem inline with recent trends, but this one has major rotor wear and will need a service. Considering how often connies show up in the worst redials thread, it's probably still ok with the redial cost added in.

I don't understand what you mean about the "redial cost". This dial looks good to me. The hands are a bit short so they might be replacements, however an image search for this reference shows several other pie pans with slightly short hands so it's difficult to be sure.
