Do you mean both or just the 1956? That's a good catch as I had not noticed.

It is the 1956 Melbourne Olympics box

Well, here's the second example of this dial style that I've ever seen:

@MSNWatch has the first and his is virtually mint. This one is far from perfect and has a replacement marker.

But as they say, go find another.

I love that blue seconds hand. Is a blue seconds hand original to this watch?

Yes. I think so. Many early Omega chronometer models had it.

I wonder if it was the waffle dial? Of course, I have no idea if this one is original to this watch:

I expect a few people will turn up their noses at "just a Geneve", but I think this is a great little watch. Cal. 552, a Seamaster in all but the name on the dial, superb original condition and room to negotiate on the price. That crown looks fine to me. If credible proof of service is provided, a good buy for someone.

One of my all-time favorite dials. Simple, elegant.

A 1940-50s(?) Bumper Omega, from the original owner. I think ref 2421 or 2438 from the case shape. Non-original crown, but not bad dial/good hands. The seller wont open the watch, but I bet the movement movement would be fine with a service. I would be buying this if funds allowed. My last suggestion on here was a franken.. so I hope this is better.

Pricy but perhaps the seller would come down a couple hundred dollars. Looks to be in nice condition. No association with seller.

Hi any more optionions on this one?
Sorry but im totally unfamiliar to those ones...
Thank you!

Not available any more but thanks to everyone who took a look 😀

Looks good. Sure the discoloration is only on the crystal though? I couldn't tell from all the pictures.

The seller says so and says the dial is in good condition. Seller has good feedback and it all just somehow "feels right" to me. ETA: The visible discoloration is def on the crystal. Full on the upper 5 marker is covered by it but obliquely that area is clearly unmarked.

I really like that one, its exactly the type of watch I like to buy, looks original and unloved, not prettied up for sale, whack a new plexi on that (no watchmaker is repairing that crystal) have it serviced (also a must do as it has definitely not for many decades) and it'll come back from the watchmaker looking like a gem.

I agree! I like this watch. Not my 165.002 grail (that’s a ‘62), but a great piece nonetheless. (26xxx is 1969, no?). I’m a newbie, of course, but even I can appreciate the remarkably sharp lugs and other fine details. Dial looks almost too pristine but the rest is so clean I’ll take the seller at his/her word. Pity OBO no longer applies and Canada isn’t a preferred destination.
