Man! Just got the repair quote from my watchmaker; I should have let you get that one...

Rust in the movement, teeth missing from mainspring barrel, generic crystal, pitting at case gasket area, and, oh, BTW, a crack in the case that will require laser welding...

So much for "winning" an auction.

the lugs have just lost their edge but the dial really is nice (slight mark below the A in calendar?)
looks like onyx inserts
original cyclops crystal
most likely original (variant) crown
medallion okay with a little wear
not sure why it has a gold coloured buckle though (badly cast so perhaps a copy?)
rotor obviously has a bit of a wobble and needs attending to
I'll bet it looks great on the wrist
not too bad a price at $850 -perhaps the BIN seller might take an offer?

The rotor was my biggest concern otherwise it looks pretty sweet to my eyes.

I'm not a big fan of the cyclops but they don't bother me a whole lot either. I saw that ding too. Maybe some pitting on the back of the lugs...

It is correct, don't worry. These come with either the ten-sided crown or the variant that's on mine. I believe it is tied to the year of production, but haven't delved deeper into the subject.

Btw, this is my first enabling on this forum! It took me 2K worth of rubbish posts, but I got there! Woohoo!
