Go for it. It does look good. Not my bag personally, but it seems to stack up right. Looks like a nice piece.

I wonder what the deal is with the Hermes on the caseback?

    I could be wrong, but I think it's a reflection :)

Great looking watch, btw. Love the solid gold buckle! Is the round Omega logo on the inside of the caseback ok for the time period? I have always thought that they were for older watches.

The dial and movement are both signed Fab. Suisse, which tells us that this watch was for the French market. The old style case mark you are referring to was used for French production precious metal Omega cases. The watch was possibly retailed in France in a Hermes store although I must say I have not seen an engraving like that before, so pure speculation on my part. I do however have a Turler signed Centenary so it isn´t outside the realms of possibility.

I didn't see the "Fab. Suisse" on the dial before now ::facepalm2::

I didn't read about the inscription in the text before now ::facepalm2::::facepalm2::

    I'll just go to bed.

Maybe @John R Smith needs to check in to update his Centenary spreadsheet.

    It's been awhile.
