·If I'd known it would go that high I would definitely have passed on the info. To be honest though, I had no idea it would go for that amount. I figured it would just break £2k so the deal didn't seem so good at the time.
I presume the the seller was pleasantly surprised as £2k cash was their suggestion.

I don't think the back is too polished for one of these at all. They rarely come minty.
The slope of the two steps has been nearly completely wiped off. 🙁
Overall, hardly a poor example.

I bid on this, figured it was going to go for about what it did, ended up a few bucks short. That's OK, as I did not want to go more than that just now for that watch. We are heading into watch season soon, so have to be ready.
