Hard to say. The dial is in good shape but the case is only 35mm with thin gold plated .

A 37mm in SS case was sold here at 3500 usd

and here is mine, also 37mm ref 2475 , paid 1250 euros for it

That's a smart way to get rid of deep personalization on back or wrong ref case.

Not sure how many were actually made, but I suspect not many.

I think someone (not I, unfortunately) got a pretty darn good deal on that watch.

My favorite thread for this very reason. Wish it was me but I had no idea what I was looking at...par for course with me.

Been following this one. I suspect a shill bidder has already entered into the equation with less than a day remaining and the current price being well below the seller's hope price. He wants 5k.

How do we feel about a partially refinished dial? I'm conflicted!

Interesting thing is it might be possible to get a replacement, its a 1980s watch, not a vintage really

It's just the chapter ring / inner bezel. Looks like an okay job to me.

Could be possible if you're that worried about it.

Sorry - should make it clear, I'm not bidding, purely scientific interest!

Never knew these Kleerbacks existed before but now that I've seen one, I kinda want one, they're cool!

I found an earlier thread delving into the history of these, which only fuels the fire.

This thread will continue as it always had but the recommendations here once accepted will be added to the Omegaforums Recommended Auctions page:

    http://omegaforums.net/auctions/

It'll be accessible from the top level nav by clicking on the hammer symbol. This is going to be expanded further in the future and act as testing bed for some future auction related projects we're currently working on.
