Great watch. What do these typically go for?

 

Hard to say. The dial is in good shape but the case is only 35mm with thin gold plated .

A 37mm in SS case was sold here at 3500 usd

That's a smart way to get rid of deep personalization on back or wrong ref case.

How do we feel about a partially refinished dial? I'm conflicted!

 

It's just the chapter ring / inner bezel. Looks like an okay job to me.

Could be possible if you're that worried about it.
