Movement is a caliber 27.O, which was made especially for gold cases. The original case was almost certainly melted.
Someone buy this 9k Gold cal 340 Flagship; Great shape, appears original except perhaps for the crown, and looks like it might go for a good price. I’m not looking for gold watches at the moment, otherwise I would be bidding. Another nice possible value proposition 19AS. Original looking early-50s, with crisp lugs. https://www.ebay.com/i/173896609945Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
And another solid Longines value in my opinion: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/372716358403
Fairly sure that’s a redial, unfortunately. Looks like the pink paint is bleeding over the subdial at the edges.
A beautiful and interesting little watch which I believe is offered at a very fair price. I am unrelated to the seller but hope given the beauty and quality of the watch that it can be sold to someone who can appreciate it. https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Montre-Homm...927&pg=2509164&_trksid=p2509164.c100904.m5276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Someone should really buy it - and I believe the seller will be willing to negotiate as I had initially bought it from him on auction for 350 euros. Because the watch was too big for my purposes, I decided —with some regrets— that I had to return it. More explanations and info in a separate thread. Suffice it to say it is a great watch which has its place in the collection of any discerning Longines collector. Remarkably, one of our pals (he knows who he is) found a super cool catalogue picture with this exact reference and matching dial— the same is also found on small tre tacches. Below with pictures from the seller and more which I took myself.
Well crap, every time I think I’ve learned enough to spot a redial, you folks show me something I’ve missed, Thanks and sorry the the bum recommendation.
Well hopefully this isn’t against forum policy, but I just posted my 1954 (first-year) fab Swiss 18 karat gold Conquest here: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/133212191679
Anyone seen this? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com.sg/ulk/itm/202826504728
And the listing is gone. Not before the seller deleted pics which showed the dial. Only left with a caseback pic.
Japanese seller. Reliable with several watches I have purchased previously (Omega and Cartier, no Longines as of yet). Excellent price for Chronometer movement. Has other ultrachron at same price for non-chronometer movement. I will purchase tomorrow as parts watch for my others, or just wear because C-case so comfortable but really don't need and wanted others to have chance if itching for chronometer 36K-beat movement. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LONGINES-U...542567?hash=item3d9955cea7:g:~7MAAOSwXqpd82NRPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
hmm, I’ve been looking for a good 431. I love the style below, but the condition of the bezel near 6 leaves a little to be desired. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/312882417114
Yeah, that's unfortunate because the dial and that second hand are pretty cool. If interested I now have 3 431's (including the incoming) - PM me if you'd like to see photos.
Hello everyone, Working on acquiring my second Longines and was wondering what comments you might have on this one. Thank you. Feel free to be
