I'll admit that I had not noticed the shipping price, which frankly is ludicrous. I suspect however that you should be able to get the excess refunded to you, should you open a claim with Ebay.

Off topic I know, but here’s an extreme case of that... I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS WATCH.

Seller apparently had a $500 sales limit on him from eBay and wanted $5,000 for the watch.

Maybe this is a way to get out of the authentication process as well.

I would think that eBay would figure this out pretty quickly.

A search of Movado Calendomatic right now does not turn up the above listing.

Cheap Aquamatic with some dial damage but otherwise good value; of course these dials are prone to corrosion like that.

I was a bit tempted by that Enicar but forgot about it, probably all for the best given I’ve got too many idle project watches as it is but an Enicar for the price of breakfast for two at Maccas isn’t bad

I feel you there. Idle projects and works in progress.

Little on the higher end of most entries on this thread, but this Zenith A3630 just popped up on C24 and it is certainly a "good value," especially if you can nab it for under ask. Looks to be all original except for minute and hour hands (which can be picked up if desired) and in very good overall condition, including the Gay Frere ladder bracelet (these alone range typically START at $1800 and go up from there...). If I didn't already have one of these....

I don’t see why not, if you have any skill. But by that point, you might as well buy an Omega clasp.
