Bought this watch a couple of months ago. Had intended to refinish the dial and may end up doing so if there isn’t any interest from members on OF. Solid 18k white gold case, manufactured by J.R. Woods & Son out of New York. My research suggests that the company made cases for American market Omega watches so I’m thinking it’s original to the watch. The case itself is in really nice condition. Measures ~23mm wide not including the crown. I don’t know much about these tank style models. At first glance, I thought the dial had been refinished at some point, mainly due to the subsecond dial print. Having looked at other examples that have similarly thick, seemingly hand painted subsecond dials, I’m not entirely sure if the dial has been refinished. I’ll say it has been to be safe and have priced the watch accordingly. EDIT - based on comment below, it seems like the dial is original! Thanks Paul! The watch is powered by a cal. 19.4 manually movement, not something you see every day. The watch winds smoothly and seems to keep pretty good time but I haven’t tested exact accuracy over 24 hours. The serial number 7,xxx,xxx dates the watch to ~1929/30. Price: $850 USD (net) plus shipping. Not many comparables in the market to compare with to assess the value. I think I’ve priced it fairly considering the rarity and gold value. Watch and I are in Canada. Pictured strap and Omega buckle are included. Dial is definitely original and pretty as hell Great Art Deco design @Vanallard. GLWTS. As an aside, you should post some measurements so buyer's have an idea of the size.
