Roger Ram Jet

Looks like an award winning answer. Is that Roger Whittaker. If so, the fog clears. Haven’t seen a picture of him for a long time.

Here is a complete redo of this rebus, removing several of the original clues and replacing them.

And reposting two additional clues that are relevant, and may help in your quest.

Is this one really going to defeat this august company of rebus solvers? I’m disappointed!

I think I'm going to sign up for Mastermind, special subject, Pop groups of the 60s
The only singers/bands/groups with Faroe, or it's derivatives, are far too modern.............

Sam Sham and the Pharaohs

Whew! Glad you got it! I think the name is Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. Including THE in the name. The additional clues were the title of their signature tune WOOLY BULLY, and that the group vehicle was a 1952 Packard hearse. I had originally included a picture of Felicia Farr (was married to Jack Lemmon), and a bowl of Cheerios. I changed those clues to a map highlighting the Faroe Islands. Well done @Observer. A star for you.

Another musical group, from the 1950s. Backed up many big name vocalists. Genre? You’ll know when someone identifies the group.

Post a pic of the answer:

This may be off the wall, but I’m game to give it a try. Oscar de la Renta. I’ll get my hat! (This guess may not be as much of an off the wall stab as I thought. There is (was) a musical called RENT.) That leaves me guessing as to who the gorgeous female is in the one clue. Someone named Dee?

Dee Wallace. I wondered about that. But the Dee Wallace in your clue is a much younger Dee Wallace than the one I saw when I Googled her. Ohhhh! Pretty!
