Ah Ha!

I think I know the answer................

Umm, no I don't.

This one has me seriously bamboozled.

This should have been a cake walk for this group! I suspect you all aren’t really trying! Another clue. Land mass not in North America or Australia/New Zealand! This rebus is sooooooo much simpler than “To Kill a Mocking Bird”!

Just dropped in after watching the footy (and saw the ongoing struggle) - always an inspiring activity.

That’s is how simple that rebus should have been! When someone who hadn’t agonized over the rebus, trying to come up with a complicated answer, can glance at it, and the light came on! Well done @TasMike !

Those clues were open to everybody. You cut to the chase, and nailed it!

Sometimes the answer isn't always glaringly obvious.

Especially when I see the bird as a Hawk (rhymes with York), not as a Hok, which must be a Canadian pronunciation.

😉

Well done Mike 👍.

H - A - W - K, pronounced HORK. Hawk H - A - W - K, a peculiar “Canadian” pronunciation? Oh, please!

Just me desperatly trying to justify my failure to solve a puzzle that took @TasMike about four seconds.

Even the picture that gave me the lookout's cry of "Land Ho" wasn't enough.

I have to admit that I just followed @Canuck 's hint and said out loud 'hawkai' followed by each option in @Charlemagne1333 's list (dollars, bucks, cash, money, bread, dough)...and there it was. So not all my own work.

I am indeed pleased that I finally put together a rebus that wasn’t solved before the ink was dry! No need for recriminations, @JimInOz . Your record in solving these puzzles is (I suspect) nearly unparalleled! But HAWK is pronounced H - A - W - K pretty well everywhere there are hawks!

I could name the individual, but I won’t bother since the clues make no sense to me whatsoever.

You almost had it though.

Dame Judy Dench = DAY - Or the character "M" she often played in Bond films.

Night sky = MOON -

Peeking boy = I Or a shy boy

Ball pein hammer = P

Everything else = NETWORK - Or a Local Area Network, LAN
