A stickler (I think), but I’m prepared to be surprised. One clue: A title. No clue or person is included in the answer.

As @TasMike says, Gordon Pinsent (Julie Christie & Olympia Dakakis) in the movie Away From Her! Sheesh, what’s a guy gotta do to post a stickler!

Gnat - NAT
Charles - KING
Coal - COLE
Mona Lisa - MERRY (Mary)

(Probably only partly correct.)

I’ve used a little phonetic liberty for this one. It’s been an earworm for me, recently.

So, what’s the earworm?

Well I haven't solved the earworm but I'll give a starter for someone

R Dee (sandra) oh (sandra) = Rodeo

Alpha romeo - alpha + juliet (bnoche) = Romeo and Juliet

Only 2 things come to mind and that's Dire Straits or 5,6,7,8 by steps (my rodeo romeo) but can't make either work

@Gav1967 & @JimInOz

You’ve almost solved it, jointly. Just a bit of tidying the loose ends, and it’s done.

Eye
Jockey
R
Dee
Oh

That’s an English phonetic(ish) translation of the language that the aforementioned earworm is typically sung in.

Romeo & Juliet is the extra clue. That’s it really…

Points for @Gav1967 , for mentioning Dire Straits. Mark Knopfler is known to don his Speedmaster Professional, on occasion 👍

Thanks, Ai was equally half way there but living, sadly, without a prayer, until your generous clue.
hopefully that’s enough joviality
Now for the solve (maybe)

I bow before you and hang my head in shame.

Brilliant solve.

Methinks we are all a very clever and curious bunch in here… and thankyou
N.b. Many is the time you bust out a solve and I groan (appreciative of your acumen)

Excellent, well played @Matty01. Figurative cigar to you, sir.

A well deserved win.
I often listen to music via iPhones when working in the garage as it serves two purposes.
It cuts out the harmful noise and allows me to enjoy good music.
Pavarotti is always one of my selections when I'm sick of Wagner, Strauss (all of them) etc and it was only about a week ago I heard this.
Should have looked at my iPhone at the time to see the title.
Oh well, winner takes all.

Edit: I mean I listen via AirPodsPro

I was thinking: ear worm and Romeo and Juliet? I came up with this, was way off base, but, on the upside, it did get stuck in my head:
