The second clue was the key to the whole thing as @Charlemagne1333 deduced.
The neon sign had me confused but I figured it was just a "sounds like" clue.

The last 2 elements were puzzles themselves. Banana, a source of potassium (K). And the neon (Ne) sign spells out "hello" but it's reversed so you need to do the same (to get eN). 😁

The banana was easy following the "elements" theme, I figured Neon was the answer so I just reversed it, I didn't twig to the sign being reversed.

Nice tricky clue 😁.

That was a good puzzle, and good solving by @JimInOz working out the last two clues.

I’d have needed a couple of more days… 😁

Struggling with this one 😕

I was pondering the elemental symbols for the first 4 pics, which led me to chic, so maybe chicken?

I’ll have to sleep on this…

All I saw was

I didn't think that would take too long, but that, my Aussie friend, must be a record.

While I was trying to identify the actor as Lex Barker (wrong), and the actor that played the role of Daniel Boone in the movie (also wrong), our @JimInOz put his grey matter to work, and answered it. To my credit, however! Fess Parker/Lex Barker! Close! But would have solved it? Unlikely.

THIS on I can do, (I think!)

And state the date for the win

I think I can see the name of a fictional character, but the last three pictures elude me.

At the risk of being completely off track, I’ll just offer a pic…

… and hope that someone else can put the rest together.

👍
Definitely on track there. I think you know the name of the character, so now for the rest.

Clue: starts with a breakfest (sic) of sorts 👎

Leopold Bloom (protagonist from James Joyce’s Ulysses)

Bloomsday (A breakfast in honour of said protagonist, celebrated on 16th June)
