·@JimInOz nailed it! The Howdy Doody show ran from 1947 to 1960. There was a 40th anniversary retrospective on it in 1987. Princess Summerfall Winterspring was played by Judy Tyler, the actress in my latest clue. Judy met her demise at he tender age of 24, in an auto accident in 1957, so a different actress played her role in the 40th anniversary show. It was unfair of me to dig that one up, since I am certain most who follow this forum, have never heard of the program.
