Amundsen flies (semi rigid) airship Norge over the North Pole. April 12, 1926. Today in history. Tell me, rebus enthusiasts, does @Darlinboy deserve a star? I’ll act on your concensus.
Affirmative 👍

Consensus seems to say you have earned a star, in spite of the fact that you missed one clue. I’m a good sport, so I’ll reach deep into my star bag for you.

Thank you @Canuck!

I'd also like to thank Mrs. Darlinboy🥰, my third-grade teacher Sister Roberta, my agent, and of course, the OF Academy of Rebus Judges for this honor. ::psy::

Adding another hint...

1. Listen to this ‘80’s album, then solve the rebus.
2. Begin with the end in mind.
3. The name of the band is suggested by the last clue, though it should really come first in this rebus.

Listen to this ‘80’s album, then solve the rebus. 🍿

I keep coming back to this one, but no lightbulb moment.

Job done/completed?
Watch/dial?
Prince/purple/revolution?
Pull/tug/strain?
Phial/tube?

Not the slightest clue on this one!

You have the answers, or nearly, for all but clue #2. Is there anything unusual about the watch?

I will add another hint:

#3. The name of the band is suggested by the last clue, though it should really come first in this rebus.

Hands up, I had to do a bit of googling!

Tick - completion
Backward dial
Prince
Pull
The Tubes

Was one of my favorites, but not mainstream. Well solved!

Is the answer to this one so obvious that nobody feels it is necessary to reply?
For some reason I thought this was a pictorial response to “all’s well that ends well” - obviously not!

I/we will endeavor to solve this puzzle @Canuck

A character from a once popular TV sitcom (though from what I read, recently, there’s another series on the horizon)

The genesis of said character having been created during this show…

Character Dr. Frasier Crane, Cheers. Portrayed by Kelsey Grammer. Can’t be sure. Never watched the program. Unable to endure “laugh track” comedy!
