@Charlemagne1333 , You have all the elements of a correct answer in your post. You are soooooo close! A hint. Two guys disappeared 94 years ago, and no trace ever found.
Thanks to @Charlemagne1333 for 75% of the work and @Canuck for the final clue Nungeser and Coli (hope I have spelt correctly) NY to Paris pilots of The White Bird who went missing never found
@Gav1967 , Right on. Nungesser & Coli tried Paris to New York, two weeks before Charles Lindbergh succeeded. They left Paris, and were identified as flying over Ireland, but were never heard from again. It is thought they might have crashed into the Atlantic, somewhere near Newfoundland.
Hogan’s Heroes This was before my time, and it wasn’t aired much in the UK, so I’ll let someone more aquainted with the show to proffer some of the characters...
@Charlemagne1333 , Hogan’s heroes is correct. Well done! I thought that one would be a cake walk for somebody. Not so, apparently.
Staying on theme... This is considered to be one of the rarest celestial events What is it, and where would you find it?
Well that was easy for Spongebob fans . Oh, wait. That's not a celestial event . Anything to do with these?
