Really tight crown gasket

Greetings all,
I finally found a correct replacement crown for my Sm120 on eBay, the seller said they were NOS, and my watch guy says the seal is indeed like new and firm rubber with good elasticity. It fits the tube perfectly but he says it’s very tight to turn, even with a little grease it’s still tight. I am known to have princess fingers and have had this issue with replacement crowns in the past which has totally turned me off of wearing the watch (9/12 date setting with a tight crown- ouch). Is there any way to loosen up this tight seal a little without compromising the waterproof seal?

A crown winder perhaps? @Archer shows one example here:

Bingo! Using that would put a few of my dreaded finger shredders back into regular rotation! Thanks!

I have one of those crown wonders and they work pretty well on my dress Benrus.
