Rare Constellation

Constelación rara. Hola. No encuentro ninguna esfera similar.

Can you translate to English please.

Dial looks original but aged. Hands likely relumed

Buenas from España.

These dials go by the name of semi-waffle or half-waffle around here. They are textured in the center, but not on the outer part of the dial. There are less common than “classic pie pan” dials, but they come up. If you do a search here, you’ll find several examples of that texture, with variations of the indices/markers.

My message was written in English, but the application must have translated it into Spanish.

Rare constellation. Hello. I recently bought this Constellation Pie Pan, with a comb and cross-type dial. It is a 2852 with automatic movement caliber 505. Everything is original except the crown. He consulted books, photos and videos online, and even tried to use artificial intelligence to learn more about this sphere model, but it has been impossible. I can't find any similar sphere. Could any member of the forum give me information about this model? Is it a rare watch that Omega made only a few units of? Thank you for reading this thread.

Here is the official listing from the Omega Vintage Database:

https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-constellation-omega-ck-2852

Omega would typically make several (or several dozen) different dial styles for a single case reference.

Yours looks very nice.

Very nice with an honest dial with even patina. Case looks good too.

Omega made each reference with multiple dial variations. This textured ‘waffle’ dial is less common than other types.
Obviously there is ageing to the dial and the hands have been relumed so it’s not a top example but nice nonetheless
