Hey there, What do you think about this Seamaster 165.024? My opinion: - 552 serial number starts with 242××××××, so it should be from late 1966/early 1967 - period correct resin bezel with bold font, serif flat 1, curly 3, top 4 as used in 66/67 - crown is a correct naiad crown with 24 teeth - case back 165024 HF which is period correct - FB case in good condition with correct bezel - original crystal with Omega logo - dial is a small triangle one with white writing, original lume still tritium (no redial/relume) - hands are period correct sword hands as used in 1966/1967 (white paint of second hand was removed) Any great mistakes in my esitmation? Thank you for you help!!
Nice watch and nice patina! In the wristshot the second hand seems to be white. It's only my impression? I think the crown is a replacement. See this post https://omegaforums.net/threads/naiad-crown-for-165-024.34132/#post-384645
Thank you! It is 80 % wrong Impression I'd say With the Crown you are most certainly correct - just measured it + counted the teeth. If only the Omega-logo-Version of your link is correct: mine is different, so a possible replacement, but with correct teeth + correct Diameter.
Looks pretty awesome. Nice patina. Are the lumed markers on the dial all there? You see to many these days with the lume fallen off. If all there then quite amazing
